Data security

The use of our website is possible without providing personal information. If you send us personal data (e.g. in an e-mail inquiry) we treat it confidentially and in accordance with the data protection legislation and this Privacy Notice.

Data will not be passed on to third parties without your expressed consent. By visiting www.david-e-moore.de, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Notice.

To protect the security of information during transmission, each transmitted information is encrypted by SSL software. An encrypted connection is displayed in modern browsers in the address bar beginning with “https://” and a lock symbol. Hence, your transmitted data remains confidential and can’t be read along by third parties.

Please note that security gaps may occur during data transfer in the internet (eg. when communicating by e-mail). Complete protection of data against unauthorized access by third parties is not possible.

Cookies

These web pages use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. They do not cause harm on your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and safer.

Matomo

This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo (previously: Piwik) so that we can improve our offer accordingly. Matomo does not use cookies to analyse your use of this website.

It will be saved eg. the number of visitors, from where visitors came to this page and which pages are visited. It is not recorded though if your visiting these pages the first time or repeatedly (a permanent cookie would be required then).

The information generated about your use of this website is stored on our server. Your IP address is anonymised before storage. The generated information about the usage of this website will not be passed on to third parties.

If you do not agree to the storage and use of your data by Matomo, you can

    • enable the “do-not-track” function of your browser, so that your visit to these pages is ignored by Matomo, or
    • disable the storage and use with the following link. In this case, an opt-out cookie (name: mtm_consent_removed) is stored by your browser that prevents Matomo from collecting user data. If you delete your cookies, the Matomo opt-out cookie will be deleted, too. The opt-out must be enabled again when you revisit our pages.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

    • host name of accessing computer
    • time of server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific individuals. A compilation of this data with other data sources will not be made. We reserve the right to examine this data retrospectively when we get to know concrete evidence of unlawful use.

Collection and use of personal information

When you send us a request (e.g. via e-mail or telephone), your data will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the case of follow-up questions.

When watching the embedded YouTube videos, no personal data will be collected by Google and YouTube (see note at Cookies). Only when you switch to YouTube to watch the videos and if you’re logged in there with a YouTube account, your usage data can be connected with your account/profile. The Privacy Policy of Google applies additionally.

When visiting the Facebook pages of David E. Moore, Facebook collects personal usage data in accordance with Facebook’s Privacy Policy. When visiting the Instagram pages of David E. Moore, Instagram collects personal usage data in accordance with Instagram’s Privacy Policy. The corresponding data are provided to the site administrators as aggregated usage data that cannot be assigned to individual users (e.g. number of page views, number of clicks on posts). The site administrators use these data exclusively internally to create interesting posts for users, to communicate with (potential) customers and interested parties, and to promote events.

Please note that your “likes” and comments on any social media page can usually be seen publicly, not only by the site administrators.

Information, suspension or deletion of personal data

You always have the right for free information about your stored personal data, its origin and destination and the purpose of the data processing and the right to correction, suspension or deletion of this data with future effect.
